The new line of IP rated power supplies from Mean Well are perfect for use with LED lighting, outdoor signage or in any situations where water is a concern. A variety of models including Class 2 versions are available.

IP64 Water Resistant Low Cost Power Supplies The ELN series is a CE approved water resistant line of power supplies encapsulated in a fully isolated plastic case. This series is constant current limited with optional dimming functionality making it an economical choice for LED lighting and moving signage applications.

IP64 Class 2 Waterproof Power Supplies with PFC The PLN series are Class 2, UL 1310 approved power supplies. They meet IP64 water resistant standards in a fully isolated plastic case. This series comes with built in power factor correction making it an excellent choice for use with LED lights in both indoor and outdoor settings.

IP67 Class 2 Waterproof Power Supplies with PFC The CLG series class 2, UL1310 approved power supplies meet IP67 standards for waterproofing capabilities. Suitable for all outdoor applications these power supplies can be submerged up to 1 meter in water. With a working temperature range of -30C - +50C they are the perfect choice for all general outdoor applications including applications with low temperatures, water or dust concerns.

IP67 / IP65 Splash Resistant / Waterproof Power Supplies with PFC
The CLG-150 series power supplies meet IP67 or IP65 standards for waterproofing capabilities. Suitable for all outdoor applications these power supplies are available with a choice of options including output voltage and constant current adjustments through internal potentiometer (A version, IP65), constant current adjustment though with the output cable (Version B, IP67) or Version C which is available with terminal block connections for input and output voltages. This product is applicable for situations where you need a higher capacity power supply with waterproof capability.

IP66 designed, in a fully isolated plastic case these power supplies are a reliable solution for use in a variety of applications. Features include choices of constant voltage mode or constant current mode and in outputs ranging from 18 Watts to 60 Watts.

IP Ratings Explanation

The IP Rating consists of 2 components.
The first number refers to “ingress of foreign solid objects” and consists of 7 levels as shown below.
All Mean Well water proof and water resistant power supplies fall in the highest category (6) and are totally protected from dust.

0	No protection
1	Protected against solids objects over 50mm (e.g. accidental touch by hands
2	Protected against solids objects over 12mm (e.g. fingers)
3	Protected against solids objects over 2.5mm (e.g. tools and wires)
4	Protected against solids objects over 1mm (e.g. tools, wires and small wires
5	Protected against dust - limited ingress (no harmful deposit)
6	Totally protected against dust

The second number consists of 8 levels and refers to protection against liquids. The power supplies vary from level 4 to level 7 depending on the degree of "waterproofing" involved.

0	No protection
1	Protected against vertically falling drops of water
2	Protected against direct sprays up to 15^o from the vertical
3	Protected against direct sprays up to 60^o from the vertical
4	Protected against sprays from all directions - limited ingress permitted
5	Protected against low pressure jets if water from all directions - limited ingress permitted
6	Protected against strong jets of water e.g. for use on ship decks - limited ingress permitted
7	Protected against the effects of temporary immersion between 15cm and 1m. Duration of test 30 minutes
8	Protected against long periods of immersion under pressure
