About DC to DC Converters
DC - DC converters
are designed to increase or decrease the DC voltage that is input to the converter.
A typical application is to decrease input voltage of 24 volts DC to 12 Volts DC so that common 12 volt electronic equipment can be operated from a vehicle that has a 24 volt electrical system.
